Timberlind Auctions is owned by Robert and Carol Lind. Robert was born and raised at Buck Creek, not far from where the Timberlind Sale Yard is presently located.
Robert graduated from the Western Canadian School of Auctioneering in Calgary on October 3, 1998 and was voted as the class president at that time. He joined the Auctioneers Association of Alberta and in January of 1999, he won the Tyro Contest for New Auctioneers in Alberta at the Alberta Auctioneer’s Convention.
At that time, Timberlind Auctions was incorporated and had their first machinery consignment sale on the farm May Long Weekend and the next on September Long Weekend and have developed the sale yard into a permanent facility. This year marks the 25th Anniversary of these annual sales. Last spring was the largest sale ever with just over 400 consignors and just under 6,000 people in attendance.
They also have about 20 farm sales around the Drayton Valley area annually.
Robert and Carol truly appreciate the time and effort their staff have put in over the past years.
They have a great group of sales staff that have been part of their sales team for many years.
